Week 27
16 December 2007

Sculpture in the Gardens

This 1.8km long outdoor art trail at the Auckland Botanical Gardens, aims to become the
greatest exhibition in a garden setting.  The exhibition allow visitors to see the gardens
through new eyes and gain an appreciation of the role art plays in our everyday lives.

Quote for the week

"Of all the means of expression, photography is the only one that fixes forever the precise
and transitory instant.  We photographers deal in things that are continually vanishing,
and when they have vanished, there is o contravance on earth that can make them come
back again." - Henri Cartier-Bresson
